• Accessibility & Inclusivity

We warmly welcome everyone here at Burlton Cottages. Barn Owl, The Stable and The Courtyard are all ground floor cottages. However, Barn Owl View was purpose built and specifically designed to provide a modern, luxurious and accessible holiday retreat. It has been awarded 5 Star Gold M3A (suitable for assisted wheelchair users) by Visit England. "Accessible and luxurious which is so difficult to find, we will be back." Edwards family, Nov 2022 Full details of how we have achieved this – including electronically operated rise and fall worktop, hob and top kitchen cupboards; level thresholds throughout and a flat concrete path to the Studio and Spa can be found in the Accessibility Guide below. We always welcome every guest to ensure you have everything to meet your needs. As we live on site, we’re always on hand throughout your stay – if required. That includes helping with your luggage on arrival and departure too. If you’d like to, you are welcome to visit Burlton Cottages & Spa prior to arrival to familiarise yourself with what is here. Please just give Rachel a call and it can be arranged, it’s no trouble at all. If you would like a pre-stay visit to familiarise yourselves and guests with our accommodation and swimming pool facility please do get in touch with Rachel for this to be arranged. Before booking, please spend time looking at our floor plans of each cottage, map of the site, 3D visuals and photographs on this website and our social media platforms. We have also created a Sensory Guide to highlight the different sensory experiences you will find when you arrive at our cottages. We are only a small holiday cottage provider so you will find our facilities are quiet. There is a “quiet” seating area in the studio to be able to get away too if required. Each cottage has two hours exclusive use each day of the swimming pool so there will be no other users in the pool except for yourselves, in your prebooked time slot. This provides a quiet swimming pool environment for the user.
